Edward Council
Business and Operations Manager

Mr. Council is responsible for the day-to-day managerial and operational aspects of Lepidoptera Graphics. He brings with himself, management skills culled from running his own independent venture - Timberfield Systems, a software engineering and consulting firm he founded in 1990. He also has over fifteen years of software engineering experience gained from high tech companies such as Motorola and M/A-Com.

With Mr. Councils' extensive background in the high tech industry, he provides added understanding of the critical requirements of our clients. He is able to translate the technical software and hardware terminology so that we can design more focused, easily understandable materials with messages that are on target.

Mr. Council graduated with a BSEE from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and has done post-graduate work in Computer Science at Bradley, Arizona State University and the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.

Mr. Council is a member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is also a member and has volunteered his time and resources to the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He has served as chairman of the Professional Chapters Steering Committee for ACM/SIGGRAPH and as Chapter President for the Greater Boston Chapter of the ACM. As active member of the local chapter of Rotary International, he enjoys serving the local and international communities.
